I was just wondering how many hens are in your A team? I seem to have more hens than cocks, my hens tend to roll better and more percentage of them just seems to be better, i have 13 hen and 3 cocks in my A team, just wondering how many did you guys have.

5 cocks and 15 hens. Has been pretty close that way for 2 or 3 years. My cocks tend to be on the stiff side(no pun intended) There are other breeders who are just the opposite. The hens in my lofts are usually the dominate birds as far as performance goes and I can't explain it and I am not even going to try. You just choose your best performers no matter what sex they are.

I seem to have more quality hens than cocks,But i also seem to breed more hens than cocks on a ratio 70%/30%
