Does your property insurance cover damages to a neighbor’s car, other property or if your bird rolled down and injured someone?
What kind of liability is there for something like that? Anyone know? ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Innocent until proven guilty. "I gave that bird away. It`s not mine. It must`ve gotten loose and tried to come back." Probably falls under "Act Of God" lol Like hurricanes and tornadoes. ---------- If they don`t kit, they don`t score. Color don`t roll and peds don`t fly. It`s a comp thing, understand?

I had a bird roll down onto the neighbors roof a couple of weeks ago. It knocked the light plastic grill of the toilet vent pie. They never noticed!!!!!!!!!!

A few years ago when i was raising Sporting Pouters some of my birds went into my neighbors chimeney. This guy was so COOL.He went into his chemeney to get my birds and came out looking like he was working in a coal mine.I thought this was going above and beyond and was extremely thankful with the gentleman. We have been good friends ever since.Even when the city tried to give me crap about the proximity of my coops to the wall both my neighbors signed a letter telling the city they had no quarrels with my birds and that they were well maintained.Great to have neighbors like this!

Tony:
YOur homeowners insurance should cover whatever damage is done. However most of us have the deductable set higher than whatever damage a roller does. Most likely you'll be paying out of pocket for this.

How about personal injury? I actually had one spin and hit me on the top of my head from about 50 ft. up, as they were getting airborn! LOL! Course I'm taller than most guys....! Cliff

I had a dog years ago that took a trip about a mile away and killed these special kind of canadian geese(miniatures) I found them on my lawn in the mourning.I knew where they came from--so did right thing--put 50 bucks in my pocket and went to the guys house. Well--they were more like near 700 bucks(he let me see papers)I gave him the fifty and dreaded having to tell wife I needed about650 more.A friend said to call homeowners--I thought he was nuts--but they covered it. Wonder if I can charge DNR for BOP killing my birds LOL! Mike
