I have been flying 15 birds together for about 2 months. They useally go up and will fly for 30 minutes to an hr.. but twice now they have stayed up for one time 2 hrs. and another time for over 3 hrs. I haven't seen any hawks and the birds all stay together.. And they haven't been fed.. So I know they have to be hungry.. I am just wondering what might cause this ??

What are you feeding them, how much, and how often are you flying them?

Lee, they are getting to strong on you, to much fly and to much rich feed. Cut the feed back if they are in Homer condition ,which will work for a while , if they are lean condition quit flying them for 10 - 14 days or so and stack wt on them , this will get them out of fly condition.

My birds were doing that last year ill let you in on a little trick get some lead strips like the stuff you use on windows and make rings for both legs make sure they are the same weight tho to keep the same balance it will stop them flyin to long and the best thing is you can adjust the weight and make them fly for the exact time you want them to fly it worked wonders for me. Happy xmas my brothers and fly on Roller Joseph.....

Thank to all of you !! I was wondering if maybe I was feeding a little to much !! I have always been one to over feed what ever I raised .. From a dog to cattle and horses. I have been feeding 1/2 milo to 1/2 wheat with a little C. peas added !! I will back off on the feed starting today !! And thanks again.
