I didnt know they was mosaics lol.I just call um bronzes i am not well up with the color codes. They come from bronze blue barred birds originally They seems to throw these colors out pretty reg.I breed mainly black pied,Blue bars and chequers with these cropping up now and again.Just thought id pick the most colorfull birds out to test the camera thats all.

If they don`t kit,they don`t score.

Well, I guess I don't know what a moisiac is.....sorry. I have one of those bronzes, Wayne. I was told by a dead man that a moisaic shows three colors and a tort shows three colors on same feather.

Nice birds, by the way.

The bronze bar that I now have was truley unexpected(LOL). Came out of a redchecker and a blackchecker bald who I have had together for three years.....I guess that don't qualify, huh? Hell, I thought I had a moisiac.

You quoted your post from Levi's The Pigeon it appears, because I went to it to look up "moisaic" as well. Color means absolutly nothing to me so I hadn't gave the bird any thought until we started discussing moisiacs and then I saw Wayne's pictures. I counted three colors.....so....

Nick, Wayne's birds are expressing a form of kite bronze which is pretty common really.

Wayne, I use a DSLR with a 200mm (300mm equivilent) 2.8 (fast) lens with a shutter speed ranging from 1,500-2,000 of a second to "freeze" the birds in flight.
