Milo, that one is the R/R reds son , the mother was half sister to your hen , the R/R is off of the same full bro/sis mating as your hens father on the top side of her.
By the way , on that hen I "loaned LOL " you, I put that pair back together this year.

Hey Scott:
They arn't bad looking birds. But how can you keep loft full of those colors.I breed quite a few of those commie colors but I wont breed them if i can help it they are the first to go.The only ones I will keep are blue check selfs to breed with my almonds.Thats why I got so many pretty birds.LOL

Thanks Stan but it isn't about the color what so ever for me Stan , When I look at a bird I only look at the important details of the bird and how it relates to performance and breeding of such , nothing else plays in.

I like that bird very much George, that is a clasic example of a Birmingham Roller , does that mean it's a good spinner ? no , but if the roll is there the probability is very good that it is a nice qaulity spinner with the mental and physical strength to handle it.
Many that I have seen posted over the last few days are just the opposite and should been culled along with every thing behind them.

Thanks guys, Tim my birds go back to 3 pigeons(two cocks and a hen) or which were inbred/linebred , a few years ago I dropped in another hen that was off a full sister to the original hen that was tied in on the top side also.
I will split it into two different lines for more breeding options such as pretzel breeding.

Tim, Kenny bred the original hen and one of the cocks, Roy Edmonds bred the other cock.
I am down into great great grandchildren in the stock loft, I do far more heavy line breeding than inbreeding.

Hey Scott,

When I was on Oahu I visited Clayton and he had a recessive red bird from your stuff. Is that rec red cock in the picture the father of Clayton's bird?

Russ , don't know without the band # , I'm thinking that was off of my 158 cock, he got some birds after I pulled in tight and some not.
The 158 cock was a dandy in the air and stock loft, he was not part of this line,at least not tight up, the rec red actualy ties back into my main line on the bottom side.

Thanx for the info. Scott, it's especially good for fanciers that are just getting into the birds, it just goes to show you don't need to start with alot of birds to score alot of points. J.M.O. TimP
