These are pure Norwoods. They are good performers. I hear many people critisizing them for thier poor kitting ability and it is just. I understand this to be a problem with a lot of southern California birds and I think it is the Norwood influence and the desire to have individual performers there................gosh, I know I am going to be beat up over that statement(LOL). But, I will not give up my Norwoods. I breed them to solid kitting birds and then the off spring gives me both. I love my Norwoods.

Now I am braced for the blows I am going to recieve from the Southern CAL guys(LOL).

Hello:

My birds kit fine, I raise a few that do not kit, but I think EVERYONE breeds some that won't kit. So by your blanket statement about So.Cal. you are setting yourself up to be abused....Glenn

Hello Nick.
I really like your pictures! I to fly a few Norwood line birds in my kit. I live in NC but got them from a very good friend in So. Cal. Mine have excellent speed and depth but but could use a little more frequentcy. Mine kit so well you couldn't knock them out of the kit with a shot gun!

My statement probably was too general and I am sure there is going to be a lot of exceptions to my statement and rightly so. But I have to state what I actually experienced. Other peoples experiences will vary. I will state that from my experiences the best individual performers I have ever seen came out of southern CAL.

Nick, very nice and typy ,expressed birds, I will agree with Glenn about you will get some culls from all lines, the close bred Norwood birds do tend to be less frequent , but boy do they have the velocity, from my observation.

Glenn , you are right though "THE BONEMAN DOES LIVE ON"
