I want to thank the man that gave me rollers this year for Christmas! For someone to give a complete stranger this quality of a bloodline was truly a blessing for me! Thank you, and your wife for going out her way to get them mailed at such a busy time! Blessings to you and your family! We had Christmas last night for I am at work today. I watched my kids open their presents, they were so excited! My wife said at the end of the night, this was the best Christmas that we've had in a long time! I haven't enjoyed Christmas in a long time, but I definatly felt the spirit this year,I got exactly what I wanted! Thank you!

You touched me with the spirit you expressed with your kids and their hobbies Val. That was what prompted me to send you those birds. The more I talked to you on the phone and heard your excitement I knew I was ending them to a good home. Joe

The wife and I have put ourselves last for several years now. We usually just buy the kids stuff and do without ourselves. It was to the point where Christmas was just a financial burden. It was nice to have something to be excited about again, heck I even broke down and got the wife a diamond necklace, wasn't real big, but it sure bought tears to her eyes!It was nice to have that old feeling again! Thanks Joe! Val
I know Nick, weird huh!

I bet Val believes in Santa Claus!
Okay while I am grooving on tryptophan and chocolate. The reason for the giving in the season is symbolized by God sending Jesus to the earth in the form of an infant child to eventually die for our sins.
I believe we like the feeling of giving to one another. It empowers us to feel we made a difference if even for just a fleeting moment in another persons life. In the idle hours brooding over a drink on the patio, one remembers these acts of kindness. It brings a smile to ones face and can change the whole tenor on the outlook of the day. It can exponentially touch the lives of a multitude of others. Just by a simple act of human compassion for a fellow fancier in need, Joe has already touched the lives of people he has never met and spread the warm fuzzy among the inhabitantis of this sometimes whacky and always interesting place we call Roller Pigeon com.
Thanks Joe

Come on guys your making me blush. Actually I didnt do anything any of you havent done and I know from experience on several of you. I know that last year Scott did somewhat the same thing for Paul Fullerton when Paul was in need and I really gained alot of respect for Scott over that one. That is why I fly rollers, Not for the competition but rather for the friends I have made from the competitions. Believe me they are some good ones. Joe
