Palor, what up , the answer to question is no she is not mutated, that is what they call web feet it usually comes from inbreeding.AT birth of the squeaker ,that is the best time to cut the center of each web of the foot or feet , so when the squeaker grows, the feet will appeer normal

Scott posted a picture of one with web feet the other day, kind of wierd though it had a green head! I think it was more of a mutation though!

The recent "My Birds" post in here from Chris DeTorres has a Red Bar W/F with a good web on it.

It is a good example of a webfoot.

Hi Joe, Always good to hear from you! I blame myself for that deal, didn't research! I have no hard feelings towards him, I've even talked it over with him, he admitted it. I stick with the safety of the clubs now. Thanks for leading me in the right direction. This is my new addiction and proud of it! I get to talk to people from all over, every day, and about pigeons! Who would of thunked it? Theres pigeon nuts everywhere!LOL
I think I've got as good as birds as there is now,its up to me now not to ruin them! The tuffest part is being patient. My wife thinks I've lost it,if I work till after dark, I go out with a flashlight and check each and every one of them before I can go to bed. It can be 20 outside and I will set for hrs with them and just watch them. I don't know what she's talking about though, theres nothing odd about that,is there? LOL

I have to watch web toe in my family (no not the green headed one) I won't breed them, before long they will set into the loft and become a real pain, from slight web toes to toes that are welded completly together, no fun.

thats what is going on in the family i have. some come out slight webed. others now and then are closed right together. like you had said welded. they get around fine and have no problems but it sure is uglyyy. lol is there any other reason other than ugly feet i should try to watch out. just looking for info wondering if it can pop something worste in the long run.

JC , breed away from it , they can get even worse than just welded toes , some will end up with a club type foot due to it, one of my best birds in the A team will never see the breeding loft due to a heavy web.

i have 4 or 5 different family,s im weeding as i go until i see wich i think are best for me i have some hatchers that came from hubert echols in texas pure pensons from david trunnel here in maine then there are 2 pairs from a buddy in tampa wich he has no background on but i have flown young from them and they show some promise and then there are a family of mostly red wich i have not had to long but was told they came from chuck warrick now i have never heard of him maybe you have? but any how im going to try them out also have some turners and hulst from dan kraker there is a 25 footer in them at 4 months old or so right now im betting on my hatchers nice 25 to 35 footers wich i like and they hold everything together very well there are a few of the pensoms that are great also but i notice there bigger i like the smaller birds not to small maybe you or someone can give me some info on the chuck warrick thanks
