I always thought qualmond was yellow based.Because they come from almonds. Is this got almond in it?this looks like a dark tort to me?I sure am no expert.

Luis,
I thought that first qualmond looks like my family. I didn't want to say so, because I thought that Hector didn't have any of my blood..

Hey Scott,
I don't see you posting any of your qualmond photos! What's up with that? LOL!
I have some wonderful looking Billings and Campbell squeaks, not flying much yet but will be soon. Very dark checks almost black.

We all know Scott is not into color birds.I respect that.I have an inquireing mind, so i do put time into things that i need to test myself.Maybe a waste of time, but i need to see it with my own eyes.I hope you all can respect that!

Efren here's the only pic i have of one of my favorites off this cock.He had me hoping.Oh well. The rest of the offspring out of him got eaten as well.I really liked the type on this one.Better than his sire,or at least i thought so.

Trust me I know what your talking about. Whats been helping me is that when I pull my young out, I would rather not know who is who that way I don't have any favorites or when one gets taken away I'm not hurting so much. I just hope they make it long enought to come into the roll then I look to see who are the parents and write my notes on the performance of the bird.

Hector,we have to learn to keep um' in if we are to succeed and move ahead!I had quite a surprise today.Flew my 08s and they decided for the first time- that i could see,to land on the telephone pole!I must say it really pissed me off!!!!I don't want to start having to go through that mess all over again.I know who the 1st offender was,so i'm gonna keep him locked up and keep my eyes right on em'!!
