All this talk about the Birmingham Roller, what about the Trenton Racing pigeon or the Sion The person has been dead for 75 or 100 yrs, but you still see full blooded Trenton or Stassart, Sion Or what ever if you alllways come back to the line its OK. So what is all this cring about . Ken

Ken,

I think that is what a lot of people do. They go back to the routes of the Birmingham in England and import some stock that is close to the original. Or, they find a breeder who has kept them clean and go from there.

I have noted that the racing world is beginning to get crowded and clouded with "rare colors" and that is worry some as well. There are some BR breeders on this site who have the real deal to include the owner.
