This is the Father to the White cock above. He was a 2001 bird that was just a rocket and has been in my breeding program since 2003...the dam to the above bird is a 97 Grizzle hen. I stocked a hen from this pair last year that has produced some nice birds.
I lost the Tort cock about 3 weeks ago during my loft construction...He got out and a hawk took him as soon as he hit the roof....I kid you not I sulked for a week over that...The above cock is one of two cocks that I currently have out of the Tort..but the other cock is not as good as this one...this one to me has the look I like too ...I do not want to lose the blood...so I pulled him from the team...I think he is about 7 months old and was doing 15-20 and was just starting to really come into the roll....I had to pull him to keep the blood from my Tort in the loft...He had excellent quality and speed...I just needed more fly time...but under the circumstances he had to be pulled...he was developing just like his sister did last year...that ended up being 30ft and perfect in every way... So Chris is going to breed three rounds from this bird to one of his hens and get him back to me...and I will put him on a nice Blue Bar hen that I have...and then I will cross him to a Ruby Roller hen. This was one of the circumstances where I had to pull a bird early...so I did not lose the last of my Torts line....I really loved the look of him....I hope he gives you some good spinners Chris....Now breed that little bastard so I can get him back..LOL

LOL...Thanks Paul he'll be getting a small piece of viagra to expedite things. Just kidding! He did act the part of a hen when I put him in with mine. This got me puzzled so I threw in an older cock with him and boy...they were at it like gamecocks. This morning I caught him topping my hen so I'm sure things are headed in the right direction. Thanks again Paul.
