Today I was flying my A team. They are gettting over whatever illness they had and are getting back to form. I have several younger birds who are still trying to establish control of the roll. Today one of them bumped in the yard. About 10 minuites later, they were working pretty good just a little low. About that time 253 tucked it up and went for a ride. My neighbor has his boat parked in the alley on his little corner thing. He has some 6x6 concrete wire supporting the tarp he covers it with. The tarp has disintegrated over the last few months. So basically there is just this piece of wire over the boat Conestoga wagon style. OK back to 253. He rolled down into the boat thru one of the 6x6 holes in the wire with just a bare clip on the wire. I knew he was dead cuz he thumped pretty hard. He wasn`t though. Little shit gave me the runaround trying to catch him while I am hoping my neighbor doesn`t come out and wonder just what in the Sam Hill I am doing in his boat. I let him go after a quick examination went up with the kit,hit 20 on the next break. Hoo Rah! Tough bird. ---------- If they don`t kit, they don`t score. Color don`t roll and peds don`t fly. It`s a comp thing, understand?

Hey Velo thats the way I do it. If they bump I keep flying them until they work it out either for the good the bad (dead). Most times the grow out of it. C.J.

Yeah, good luck with that one Kenny. Some birds are just extra tough,eh.I have one that has been held onto by a coop twice and he's trying to mate with his sister right now.He went straight up and flew with the kit after both those attacks. Geez yer lucky to be able to fly right now,man!@#$%?Besides all the friggin hawks around these days, the weathers been suckin the big cahoona fer like 2 months here.Whine ,whine.--------- Kelly

Guys I appreciate the advice, but I think you missed the point of my post. Point was this bird was balled up tight enough to go thru a 6x6 inch opening in the wire almost without touching the wire. He just barely nicked it. ---------- If they don`t kit, they don`t score. Color don`t roll and peds don`t fly. It`s a comp thing, understand?

Obviously lacking in the control department Kel,but definitely balled up tight. Will he be a hero or a zero, we`ll have to see. ---------- If they don`t kit, they don`t score. Color don`t roll and peds don`t fly. It`s a comp thing, understand?
