I heard of great thing about monte and his birds so its all good, but what about white heat rollers. There's a guy that is selling his entire roller Mix neibols and heat for a great deal plus breeder. A friend is interested. He wants your guys opinion. Told him to try it and learn from it but he want straight answer. Any info will help.

Nieble birds are outstanding in the hands of a good manager. I do not know the "White Heat" birds. A bad manager will make good birds bad. They aren't good on thier own. A flyer can recieve champion birds and make junk out of them by mismanaging them.

The best way to buy birds is to pick them out of the air.

Monty's birds were 99 percent from Bruce Cooper's family of birds. Monty added some Plona birds which are also heavy behind Bruce's family in addition to the 119/514 side. The white heat line is most likely from Bill Schrieber's family. Nick is totally correct and you should see the birds perform

I have Monty birds. My experience is that they are low flyers like the Mason birds. Very strong flyers but I never worry about them "skying out". They also home pretty well if they get scattered by a hawk attack, especailly if they are taken down the road a ways and released as Ybs. Mine came in the roll early and had good control, although I have one hen that produces (moderated). I'm told that typically Niebel birds come in later but not the case with mine. They are very nice birds in the hand. Short short and short.
