Hey Fellas, I have bull eyed birds in my loft. Strange thing is, I also have a few that have one bull eye and one colored eye. The bull and colored eye birds come from birds that were bred from two birds with pearl eyes. What is the order of dominance in eye color? Strange as it might sound, but I have three birds with bulls eyes that seem to have the look like you could actully tell what they were thinking. Call that eye sign or not, but the best looking eyes in my loft seem to be in the head of a qualmond colored hen that are both bull. Do you guys find in your families certain traits that you like or dislike when bull eyes pop up or do you just not have bull eys in your boxes?

The bull eyes have nothing to do with dominance or being hereditary. Bulleyes are the result of white around the eyes and being pie bald. A bulleye is the result of the lack of pigment. Orange is dominant to pearl. Brian.

In my Mason family, I have loads of bull eyes and a few odd eyed birds, but it means nothing in terms of performance.
