It is 8'x8' 6' tall on the two sides 7' tall in the mid It will have 4 kit boxes in it each one being 4' wide 3' deep 3' high in the back and like 3'10" in the front and it will have a 2' alley down the mid. I would like to use the box perches how big should they be?

Hey Belle,
Definately a work in progress.Looks good.I see in the 3rd pic there seems to be some pigeons already thinking about moving in!!The box perches should be 8"X8"(that way their tail sticks out from the perch when they give birth to a politician and it lands on the floor) and its a good idea to secure them to the wall with about 1/2" gap at the back to scrape the shit to the floor easily.

Belle, I'm sure you plan to do this, but in case not, make sure to put some good footings under those floor joists spread out evenly across the floor. Wierd to see green grass, ours has been dead for nine months...lol

Footings got them taking care of after I took the pics, but no worry's it will be strong enough to move one day I'm only 17 and not staying forever Shhhh don't tell mom LOL. Relax there will be pics when I am done I will show you in side and out. I am going to paint it red with white trim. Space in the bottom will be for poop.
Thanks for all the good feed back Justin

One thing that I did for my indoor kit boxes was use a tarp under the cages to catch the poop. I am not talking your regular Blue wal-mart tarps...I had a tarp and cavas place make me the tarps just the right size to fit under the kit boxes...I had them put in rings so that I can hang them and I used screw in hooks to hold the tarps up...then I store my feed bins and feeders ect underneath...and to clean I just drop the tarps down...roll them up and then unroll them in the trash can...that easy...works good...I could take photos and send them if you want or maybe post them.

I'm impressed if you're only 17 -- can't find anyone your age around here who wants to work!

I sure like that idea with the tarps, Paul.
