O' contrare, snickerdoodle! As the World Cup Regional Director for the Southeast Region, that discussion is very much my business as a representative of the flyers in my region. If the schedule were to be changed by the ranting and ravings of some...it could affect the schedule for my flyers and my region. The subject is being discussed on an open forum on the veloroll "roller" list, so it is a matter of public record. But I know that Scott always appreciates you running to his defense!! He needs no defending, "my friend." Wait a minute....I'm having a "deja vue." LOL!

Secondly, these are not my facts...if you doubt them you will have to speak to Rick Schoening, Hank Johnson, Doug Stephens, Ralph Hilton, Les Besance, Shack.....oh, wait...some of these guys are no longer with us...I guess you are safe to bash them, then and call them cross-breeders! LMAO!!! You guys crack me up! And you take yourselves so seriously!! I apologize for laughing! It is really comical, though! "But there's a difference between crests and peeks, Cliff! " LMAO! Sorry, I just can't help myself when you respond like that! I guess you had better share such a "significant" bit of information with all those great names in rollers listed above! LOL! Just keep letting some of these guys keep right on spoon-feeding you their agendas without checking them out for yourselves. That will do wonders for you!.....Make you great roller men! LOL! OK, I'll get a grip, I promise. You have GOT to see the utter humor in this, though, guys! I know Stan does!!
YITS,
Cliff

Cliff, your comment on scott and the w/c proves that you have no class and are bad for the sport!!! also it is a known fact that Ralph Hilton crossed Arch Angels into his blacks to make them shinyer for the show pen.

Now why doesn't it surprise me to hear crap from you, too, naylor? Class?? Talk about the pot callin' the kettle black! LOL! Yeah, sure, we've seen a lot of class in the way Stan, Justin, Frankie and some of the other guys are treated...sure.! It's not so much fun when the shoe is on the other foot is it! LOL! You guys can dish it out but you sure whine and can't take it, can you?! LOL! OK, I'm done with it! I've said 'nuff!

Hilton has been dead for a while numbnutz , he crossed in Archangel for the shiney black for show .
Stan crossed in a tumber breed and showed Bill Watson what he crossed in , and if you can't see the cross in those birds, well , not much I can say as you are just a numbnutz .
As for our fly , I suggest you keep your ass out of our business , we don't raise , train and pump countless hrs year after year into our birds to put up with clowns like you and your idiot remarks , only "you" are stupid enough to try and get in the middle of this (which has been resolved) not sure how you came up with "battling " actually come to think of it you were booted off of veloroll where this took place because it is only for serious flyers and you were just considered an idiot with your endless mongrel dribble.
and the fact remains Cliff , even if they had kept us stuck where we easily hit 100 deg I would still kick your ass on fly day , all day , thats a given.

Scott, Well that's one of the most potentially truthful things I have heard from you in awhile! You might just kick my arse, key word, "might"! But then we have already been down that road, before, with a bet, haven't we? Maybe we should just compare our scores in the last World Cup, eh?! LOL! Just bustin' your chops, buddy. I know you can take it. Don't mind me, tonight. My brain is fried from doing my taxes all week long. We'll just blame the IRS for my crappy attitude!
Cliff

PS The World Cup is not "your fly". It is everyone's fly. Any schedule change has the potential to affect all others. Actually, I was in favor of your change. It did not affect us. Glad to see, Dave worked it all out for you.

C.J. One spot was your own post Jan. 28 and another was Jerry's post the same day. I don't know how to do that pasting of quotes thing. Maybe I was reading those wrong?? It doesn't seem to me that Stan is enjoying having his birds slammed in public. I am not saying you or Jerry slammed them just that the explanation falls short in my opinion.
I have no idea how Stan got crests in his birds but it seems to me that a mutation could certainly explain it. If it never happened then all our birds would still look like rock doves. Where did the crests come from on any breed? Muffs? Breast Frills? Fanned Tails? Frilled Backs? Tumbling? Rolling? Diving? on and on... Somebody noticed something different somewhere and started breeding to enhance it.. That's my take on it anyway.
I don't care for the crested look in a roller myself but some folks might. Telling them their birds look like fecal matter (edited)is sure to draw a heated reply. Of course that is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Jim they are "obvious" crosses , and yes they look like chit and can't be compared with Birmingham Rollers , I think the deceit on what they really are is the real issue here.

Now you're being the numbnuts, Scott. I said very clearly... "in the last World Cup", yes, my first, your umpteenth, right? Go ahead, my friend, post the scores....how you "kicked my ass all day, any day!" as you said. I vote we hang this up. I don't see anything good coming out of this, at this point. I'm going to bed!

Hello, I must point out it is not the wisest use of your keyboard to publicly challenge the Moderators who are doing us ALL a favor by even trying to keep civility going in certain threads such as this.

I hope everyone has taken some time to actually read the posting policy.

Here is a quote from a section of what is not allowed: "...Lack of respect for the forum, its members, its objectives...Posts seeking other forum members to respond to taunts".

Violation of the rules will result in:

• Certain discussions being taken offline and into email by concerned parties

• Posts being edited and/or removed

• Warning provided offline

• Warning provided online

• Temporary loss of posting privileges

• Ban from posting 30 days

• Permanent Ban from posting

If you have used a "cuss" word in a post in any of THIS specific thread, you must remove it. If I or one of the Moderators has to do it, then certain policy enforcement can and will be implemented.

I appreciate your cooperation.

I have been looking back at the 100 or so old pages here and trying to catch up on stuff I have been missing. There is some good stuff to dig through back there. Some BS too of course. chuckle, chuckle. Good reading though.
Adios for now,

That's cool C.J.

I completely understand where you are coming from. You know what you can bank on? If someone says you are "full of crap"...I'll jump on them too. It's the principle of the matter. It's not the birds....it's about the man. C'mon, you would do the same. Well, I would hope. Why did you wait for me to post before shouting foul guys? Why didn't anyone jump on Stan? Seems odd to me. I stick up for my friends, AND for anyone who has their personal character attacked. No offense to Scott, he doesn't seem to be the most popular guy on the list, so perhaps that's why it seems I am a Scott supporter...LOL In this case it just happened to be him. What ever happened to civility, or common courtesy? What gives Stan the right to shout insults at people? I can't sit back and watch the attacks fly. It is my nature. Perhaps it's a character fault. This site is fantastic. Tony does a great job, and I certainly don't want to detract from all it has to offer. If you think I am going to sit back and watch Stan continue to post derogatory comments about Scott, you will have to remove me from the list. Frankly, I have spent way too much time talking about just about everything other than Rollers. A lot of drama and grief for something that should be so much fun. Doesn't matter though, anything I have to say is of no worth. I am full of crap.

OUCH Jimbo,
That hurts...I try to stay out of the ways of others, but now and again I do put my 3 cents in. As far as me bashing Stans birds, I cant recall saying anything to anyone that would qualify as slamming or saying his birds, that he pays to feed, are worse than anyone elses... I may have joked a time or 2, but I am not the type that tells another man what he should or shouldnt do with whatever....He or anyone has to live with what they have, not me......Stan, if you feel that I have said something off base today, or anyday, then take my word, I am sorry!....Jerry...P.S I looked back on the 28th, and the post I see of mine was explaining to Frankie how these guys disagree on this issue.

Thanks Milo I appreciate the support. No we din't wait for Stan to post before we wrote to you. Don't take it personally. I don't know whether or not you are aware but the site moderators on here have lives outside of this site LOL. We respond when we get to them after work and life. There aren't hard feelings towards anyone. Oh and you aren't full of crap just a little over zealous this time. Hope you keep posting.

I had to go back and re-read this post to see where it is started.First let me say I could care less about the color vs crest vs pure birm debate. It will rage forever from the looks of it.But that being said I have to agree with Milo.
If you start from the begining Stan fired the first salvo in this current thread. And Milo's response struck me as rather restrained. But opinions and butt-holes,one per cutomer please!!!!

Jerry,
I wasn't flingin no sticks at you there Pard. I was just commenting on the notion that Stan has fun in these "discussions" haha.
I don't recall you slamming him or his birds either. Sorry if it sounded like I accused you of that anywhere.

Ron,
You are right about that. Stan did take the first step beyond the bounds of good natured heated bebating when he fired that first shot, but he did insert the required LOL I believe. grin

Truly so,
Jim
