Guys,

this is the best website I've seen for Turkish performing breeds. Very intersting.

One of the best sites I have visited. I liked it very much. I have often thought about flying Doneks the last 20 years or so, but I have yet to make the commentment.

It may be a way out of the BR breeding and still be in pigeons.....probably less bickering and a chance to get away from the color breeders who are beginning to saturate the sport and are the true enemy of the Birmingham Roller sport.

Of couse this is just my opinion <---------qualifier

I fly diving pigeons and when they are on form they are every bit as enjoyable as a good kit of rollers.

I have been looking for some doneks for a few months now. Nick you fly them in kits of 3 or 5 they don't kit much and I was told to use a white Indian fantail hen as a dropper.

I've flown them single 2's 3's and even 12 that was a site they drop that fast when they start to break you can see feather bloom come of them in a trail like the red arrows and you ear them woooooosh!

I baby sat these birds for Ste when he moved house, Nice looking birds but i didn't like the poo these birds can rip out Lol. Ste flys these on a regular basis if you like diving pigeons these are the rolls Royce of the diving breed.
