Thanks Brian, I'll do it tomorrow. I'm going to hit the hay . Me and my wife ice fished for 5 hours today and it was 15 deg and 20mph winds and blowing snow. Now that I've ate and took a shower, I'm getting sleepy setting in here by the wood stove. and it reads -1 on the temp gage! I must be getting old and soft! ps only got 7 bluegills, and no flags up from pike on the tip-ups. It must be the storm that moved in yesterday shut them down. Me and my wife fished last night for crappy for 4 hrs and not a bite. Keep fine tuned busting them clays! You never know when they might sprout feathers and tallons! Take care , ---------- Tapp

Man that is waaaaay too cold for fishing, even if you are in an ice hut...lol. If it is any concellation, it was a nice balmy 68 degrees here today...lol...but I had every predator within a ten mile radius here trying to dine on every kit I flew..lol. No practice this weekend. I get my new Browning BT100 complete with a RAD2 system tomorrow night, so I'll be out there Tuesday getting dailed in with it for the club shoot this weekend followed by two registered shoot next week.

Jay do you know were I can go to find the free anti spam your talking about. the ones I found you need a credit card and they are like $29.00 to install. I cleaned the disks like Brian said but it's still way to slow. Any info would help, Thanks in advance. ---------- Tapp

TAPP, I had the same thing happen a couple weeks back. Somehow an Adware program got past my Norton Internet Security and slowed my computer down to a crawl.
Are you up to date on your Anti-Virus protection? If not, you could have TONS of crap on your computer. You'd be wise to keep it updated.
McAffee used to offer free online scan. us.mcafee.com/root/catalog.asp?catid=free&cid=10006
(Copy and paste it to your browser and hit the Free Scan)
PS: Dumb question but are you on high speed internet connection or dial-up? Russ

Tapp, left click start, then left click run. Type in MSCONFIG and hit enter. Go to the startup tab and disable all. Reboot your computer and see how much that speeds it up. If it is a dramatic improvement, you have to many processes running that you don't need. The fastest way to get your computer back up to speed is to save any info you need and erase your hard drive. Reload windows and any other programs you use. This should be done about once a year for regular users. This could take a couple of hours, but would put your computer running like it was when you first got it.

Tapp,
The software is called Ad-Aware SE Personal by Lavasoft Sweden. Do google on Lavasoft and it will get you to their site to down load a free version. I down loaded one long ago and use it every week. You get free updates also to keep up with all new ads. I recommend it to every one.
