Like Nick, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. But I have been thinking about what "white bar" would look like on my Ruby Roller family. I don’t want to lose what they have right now in terms of roll, velocity, depth, control or type.
Will my birds lose the traits they have now to get at this white bar pattern? If so, how long before the roll, velocity, depth, control and type that I like comes back?
To maintain a nice white bar pattern, will I ever have to select for color over performance and if so, how long again before the other traits I like come back?
Will this be something I need to do over and over as long as I want the white bar pattern? Seriously. Should I start a performance club for my new white bar ruby rollers? ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Tony, the fastest and easiest way to put the "white bar" on a ruby is to get ur white out ink and use it on the wings. No damage to the roll, shape, velocity, etc. by doing it this way..LOL..Jerry ---------- Eat, sleep, Cowboys, Pigeons... The facts of life

White bar? Ain't that called "opal"? Dominate opal, probably. Bob McGuan (sp) told me how to do it....the opal thing.
