I've been reading a lot about color breeding and im a little confused.What actually is a colored roller? Doesn't all rollers have color? A intrested roller mind wants to know

A colored roller is a Mongrel roller that has been crossed on another breed of pigeon just for a color, pattern or factor.. Its not about color, its about mongrelizing the breed of Birmingham roller by breeding it on other breed of non performance pigeons, just to make colored MONGRELs.. Then calling the crossed up rare colored Mongrels Birminghams,, simple,, its not about color, its about crossing breeds for rare colors.. Birmingham rollers come in many varied colors.. Just not as many colors, patterns and factors as the rare colored Mongrels..
If you don't know what colors are Mongrel rare colored rollers.. Go over to Slobberknockers and you will see exactly what factors, patterns and colors Mongrels come in.. Simple, all rollers come in colors,, Just mongrels are cross bred for rare factors, colors and patterns not found in the breed Birmingham roller.. SIMPLE really.. KGB
