Hey guys how many birds do you have and how many do you raise a year?
I have about 50 and plan to breed about 50 this year.
Do you think I can breed 50 out of two pairs using fosters? I am breeding two pairs one pair are birds I got from Joe Bob and one pair that I have bread out of the birds that Joe Bob gave me.Justin

I would be worried about wearing out a hen. Fifty birds out of 2 pair would be a lot of work for that hens layin' parts. If you had 100% success out of each nest that is going to be 12 and a half rounds of eggs out of that hen.

Just don't think I would try and push her that hard. Why not take a few more of the fifty you have already and make it 5 or 6 pairs instead???

you can do it if you have 4 foster pairs for each pair.

the thing is, you will need to breed for 7 months to do it.

If you have no hawks migration you're good to go.
