I recently got 8 new birds......have them separate from my other birds ......i have been feeding my birds all winter a mix of wheat 70%-and rolled corn 20% and pigeon grain 10%.The new birds are not touching the wheat hardly at all.
I dont want to not put in any corn in order to make them eat it as it is at times -20 and my birds are in an outside pen,and i dont want to just put in pure rolled corn as i hear to much causes cankers and possibly choking problems.........Any ideas from the experienced guys on here what to do thanks ,,,,Dave

Dave,
If you leave the wheat there long enough without adding more corn or pigeon grain, they'll get the idea it's good for them pretty quick. They won't starve let's put it that way.Any kind of cracked corn ain't good for rollers.Give 'em popcorn better if they really need it in the cold climes.I don't give my rollers any corn but it's mild here most of the time.
