This Cock was one of the last one's bred by Chuck Paul before he got out of birds. Norm Reed told me that guys like Chuck Paul and Duane Sholl had the birds as close as Norm they would send birds to Norm and vise versa. The bird is 778/991. John M.Loft(HDRC)So,Cal.

Say JMHD thats a nice bird. Especialy the color. Not to many people have that color from the 778/991 pair. I notice you mention bruce cooper. So this means you probaly got them pure. I have a question for you. Do you keepem pure or did you introduce any other family to your birds. Nether the less thats a beautiful bird. PURE ROLLER.

I have bread a lavender bold this year and that has specks so I hope that gets more along the years as they look fantastick. Nice birds guys. Harrison H.K.R ROLLER LOFT HULL UK.

Nice looking birds. I met Norm Reed in 1990 via a guy named Ken, If my memory is right, Norm lived in Rosamond, CA. I can't remember Ken's last name. Ken was a painter, does he ring a bell with anyone? Ken had some great birds.. ---------- John

From the looks of that lavender cock.. he must have a good dose of J Leroy Smith lavenders in him way back. It would be interestiing to see a pedigree that Jaconette had on the birds that Joe Proper.??? got from him.
