Yes, for that figure they are all pigeons. I have other birds but don't count that into the feed number I mentioned.
During the summer months I will have somewhere between 400-500 pigeons as the breeding season winds down. I break my pairs up by June. I shouldn't approach those numbers this year as I have scaled back quite a bit on my breeding pairs.
This year I am breeding from about 30 pair of Wests (a reduction from 45+ pairs in previous years), 8 pair of Helmets and 18 pair of Rollers. I usually have at least five or six kits of rollers all year.
I usually make two trips a month to the feed store and purchase six bags of my show conditioner/breeder mix, one 50lb bag of wheat, 25 lbs of peas, 25 lbs of milo, and grit on each trip. For the most part this purchase runs fairly consistent for two weeks. November, December and January it will be a little bit less, about one bag less of the mix. During the summer it might be a bad or two more. A 50lb bag of mix only lasts maybe three days at most.
Hope that answers your question.

Brian,
Sounds like a full time occupation!I know if I had that many birds,I'd be leaving the property to go to buy groceries and feed and maybe go fishing.
Cheers,
Kel.

Brian McCormick,
I can see where the feed bill can get out of hand if you let it LOL LOL.
100lbs of pigeon a week {30.00}{200 pigeons}
200lbs of chicken a week {30.00} {250 chickens}
100lbs of rabbit feed a week {22.00} {150 rabbits} For a nice little total of $328.00 a month which runs out to almost 4000.00 a year in feed.
You really don't have an idea what you spend until you sit down and look at it like this. Now this don't have no conditioning aids, vitamins, or medicines. Then the cost of building cages and building for all of them LOL LMAO I don't want to figure that up so I will leave it at this LOL LOL.
Thanks Brian Middaugh

Brian,
I don't have to ask do I, you do have a manure spreader, right? Maybe a little Ford tractor to haul and spread it on the back forty?
Gregg.

No Greg, I have three giant green dumpster trash cans and several flathead shovels...lol. I don't do the mulching thing, my chickens would spread it out for me, then the weeds would grow more than they already do, then I would have to use more weed killer than I already have to..lol
