Just a note of observation for those of you that aren't familiar with wide eye ceres. If you take alook at the birds that KGB has and Scott you will see that they covet this same trait. The birds pictured here have that trait genetically fixed with in them. Pensom said this indicates proper feathering when a bird posseses this not to heavy or thick and not to rich or dense.

Like a tightly waded up T-shirt is how a correctly feathered roller should feel like in hand. This is what I have read somewhere and it has stuck with me for 40 years. Don't know who said it; I would like to think Pensom or Smith who said it.

Has anyone read or heard the same thing? What do you think of that description?

Nick

John - The birds that I have from Bruce are excellent. You will have good success with the birds from Ivan. Also, the birds that you have posted look great.

Thanks guys for the input. 3757 that is good to know. The way i heard it was Ivan got a brother to the bird you got from the Cooper line so the birds are similar or how do you see it?

Wayne - I received quite a few from Bruce Cooper. Bruce is a great friend and so is Ivan. I do not know the exact bird as I started with 15 birds from Bruce. Bruce sent me 6 last year to add to my gene pool. You may be speaking of 059. He is an uncle to Ivans hen. 059 has been one of my best producers from Bruce.
