Man flying after it rains is apparently a big nono.I flew today after it had rained yesterday and saw more hawks than ever.They pushed my kit up and i lost 10 yb(07s).I guess just another one of those days!Keep um in after it Rains!!!

Hey Luis same thing happed to me here in Moreno Valley,Ca/flew a kit of 18y.bs./Hawks everwhere/lost 3 birds/thought the B.O.P had slowed down a bit/4 holdover birds hitting the 25 ft mark makes it all good.

Lost one last time I tried to fly last weekend,they took till next day to all come in,too many hawks around yet.Merlin,sharpshinned,coopers,goss and peris in the last month. ---------- Kelly

Steve you were right!9 birds came back -1, not a bad deal and i didn't even have to wait 2 months!!LOL..

The hawks are on the move as the big spring migration begins. Coopers, Sharpshins, and Goshawks are all bird hawks and follow the small prey species as they migrate north. I expect the arrival of small birds to reach Minnesota in the next few weeks and that is when the fun will begin for me. Wayne
