The grizzle hen in this photo is a 97 Hen from Mort Emami. I have had her since 2002. She lays one egg no problem...but the second eggs are either soft shelled or she does not lay at all. I have just given her calcium to help her out. She is now mated to my Red baldy and has produced 2 young this year.

My pr of Gary Stephens birds are 97s and their punching them out two at a time! Hope they keep it up at least the rest of the summer. I keep them off by theirselves to keep the stress down.
