What kind of nesting bowls do you guys use? I use the disposable ones, because I can throw them away at the end of the breeding season. The only thing I don’t like is the birds poke holes through them sometimes. Any suggestions?

I also use the paper nest bowls, bought right here on this website...BUT, I also use the leftover 5lb. powder laundry detergent plastic containers that my wife buys. They last forever, and I wash them at the end of each season. I cut them so they are about 4 inches tall, and works perfect!

Paper bowls. I throw away after each round of young.....no mess; no cleaning. Scrape the box out and put a nice new clean bowl in it.

Hey Nick, that's what I say!! I spent years cleaning clay bowls and decided the paper ones are easier for me to deal with.

I will pay some for convenience, saves me time and hassle!

Hope all is well Nick. I see you are flying WC on May 6, first guy out of the chute! Nice! I fly last! waaahhhhhh!

I use these racing homer style paper ones that Jedds sells. They appear to be molded from wet cardboard or something and are much, much bigger than the cheapie paper one you can buy in bulk. They have two one inch holes in the side to keep them dry. I can usually get two years out of one paper bowl. They cost .95 each, but I get my moneys worth from them since they last so long.
