I have a pair rollers that where doing real good they laid eggs (fisrt clutch) and both eggs hatched the squabs are about three weeks and till about three days ago one of the squabs was not looking to good, weak stumbling around and alot smaller than the other squab, now the hen is looking sick, ruffled up and runny doo doo.
I started them up on 4 N 1. any suggestions on what it could be or what can I do?

Could be e-coli? Try using Amoxycillin, its fast and very effective. Mixes with water. 4 in 1 also an option.

We have both products in the store. Don't wait long. Good luck!

Welcome Sanmas,

The cock should go ahead and take care of the squabs. I put my squabs down on the floor of the loft when they are about 2 1/2 weeks old. The cock takes care of them while the hen is setting the next batch of eggs. I have broke up pairs that had squabs 2 weeks old, and left the squabs with the cock and he went ahead and cared for them. So you should be alright..

YITS...Robby
