Can you elaborate on exactly what happened? What type of hawk is that? I take it your roller was already dead at the point you took the picture?

Stevie,
The colorado boys and Idaho guys know oh so well how those prarie falcons work. They tell me they are worse than the peregrin and they don't miss when they work them over. They seem to have a certain time of year for thier main hunt and than its just hit and miss after that. Cool picture thank for sharing.

lol that sucks but i live in idaho and i know only to well about those birds it a hybred cause i saw one just last night over my house when i was about to fly and i think thats what took one of my debour babies and the little sucker just started to fly as fast as it could and i did not know why but i think i do now and if you want to avoid those suckers get some cheap show birds and train them to kit and all that and fly them befor your rollers it has worked for me so far

Hate those crossed up birds. Hunt high and low so there is no way out for our rollers. They are also relentless hunters.
