Scott,
What did you decide on that cock bird?

Gregg , he is out of the breeding loft of coarse ,I am thinking of two options , one is putting him back up in the air and then switching him out for another cock once he gets back into codition that I had my eye on.
He was on his full sister this year and I gotta tell you ,knowing what I know about my birds it looks like a good mating from looking at the youngsters, almost half thinking about fostering everything off and keep it going unitl I have many to work with.
But what a pain that would be , I will probably just switch him out with this other cock and he will spend his days in the kit.
I have his son in stock , first year, if I had to choose I would take the son, he is sweet , strong and full of roll and just looks like a top self stock cock.

Scott,
Sounds like a plan. I'm glad you have options. A year in the air might put some more maturity on him and never have another problem. But if he is as sweet as you say, then perhaps having his young fostered for a round or two might work and give him another chance. Some birds are worth that pain in the rear.
Gregg.
