Hey Guys,
Here's my first round all cuddling closely together. Security blanket in numbers at this precious age. Got lucky with 26 in the round with only 5 days between the oldest and the youngest. Makes life alot easier on you if they are all the same age within a few days of one another.

Steve,
Yeah all of them LOL!! The red on the perch far left head shot, blue badge right back corner, Saddle light spred ash red and several of the recessive reds C/T. That should do it. I know alot of you may think that because thier is so many badge marked birds that I will be plagued with bull eyes or mouse eyes but quite the contrary I get the occasional odd eyed bird but never bull eyes on both sides.

Nick,
You would say that just to get a rise outta him!!LOL.
Ivan,
Sweet!26 born within 5 days. What do you have,13 breeder pairs? That's quite something.I could have 18 in 5 days but then I may end up with a bunch of junk.I'll wait.As it is I'm getting 18 within 30 days, still probably end up with some junk but I know I'll get some good ones.

Ivan,

Nice looking bunch of young!! How old are they before you put them in the kitbox?

Does mouse eyes and bull eyes mean the same thing? I know what bull eyes are just not sure about mouse eyes..

Ivan,
I have been breeding with badges for over 5 years and have not thrown a bull eye or odd eye yet.I have bred whites and gotten them here and there. This thing with the badge matings degenerating to bull or oddeye with inbreeding, has got me scratchin my head wondering...Aloha,Todd
