Guys not to sound like an ass to the hawk lovers, but there needs something to be done. Those SOB’s are slowly cleaning us all out and there is nothing we can LEGALLY do about it. I mean if the farmers are allowed to protect their livestock why shouldn't we ?????????? We have money, time, and so on invested in these birds, so why wouldn't we be allowed to do something about it????????? Yes I know they are on the endangered list but there are so many that something needs to be done. Just my opinion, and again sorry if I offended anyone. Later

Norm

PS
Just think of the number of fanciers that gave up because of them SOB’s

Yeah, there is one fellow who frequents this site that has been given a permit to catch 10 bop each year to be relocated. He had to demonstrate that he had a problem which he said was easy to do and was taking a loss financially.

He is now legally able to remove 10 a year. He has to document what he does but is all perfectly legal!

Maybe he will share who he is and how he got this started...

Hi Guys,I am from pennsylvania and you want to talk HAWKS, I left my kit out 2 weeks ago, within 15 minutes I had and my father and neighbor were with me, 2coopers on the kit, while we were watching them a red tail flew by us like a B-52 Bomber, now I am sure some of you know CHARLIE ALBAUGH from Maryland,he is the wonderful man that got me started in performing rollers, set me up with some excellent stock and told me,DO NOT fly these, breed from them, and today they are still in my loft, anyhow he showed me his GOSHAWK TRAP,LOOK IT UP ON THE WEB,and he showed me his permit to catch up to 10 hawks a year, all you have to do is get on Your states federal wildlife site and download where it says about permits, now in PA. they are around $100.00, but if your like me I lost more than that in birds, TONY I will E-Mail you a copy of the permit to check out, now it might be possible different states have different rules, HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOU OUT,,,,,,,PAT
