#10 entrigs me. A "wow" pair will give him three good birds in a year and he has only had 12 champions. I am a believer. I often wonder about those breeders who swear thier lofts are just chucked full of outstanding birds. Monty is a sobering resourse for us all.

Ivan,
I am breeding out of three cocks tightly inbred to 266/8409.They are all in the 20 to 40 foot range A-style.I have been flying them for 2 almost three years.They are the best pigeons I have,but I'm not sure they will necessarilly produce the same without trying to breed from them.My question is,what were your setbacks with this line as Monty had mentioned in his letter??Just wondering...Aloha,Todd

I have about 6-7 letters from Monty over several years. He always wrote me long winded letters and always emphasized feeding and handling in his letters too me.
I will alway cherish them and I sure do miss hearing from him.
I often wondered how he found time to write me so much and in such abundance when I did. I would think he did this for more then just me so he was probably a little busy writting at times.
He actually sent me his original performance VHS to view he made for some Austrailian guys I think? I couldn't belive he sent me his original. I made a copy of it editing out all the fishing as he had at least 2 hours of fishing for salmon on that sucker. I need to transfer this video to dvd, or does anyone has it already transfered to dvd?
