Hello, I recently did a deep loft cleaning which kicked up alot of dust which I know found its way into my lungs (cough).
Does anyone know of or can anyone recommend where I might get a good air filtration mask that will stop the pigeon dust that is 3 microns in size from getting into my lungs?
Those blue or white cheapo face masks don't create a very good seal to keep the irritants out, so forget about those.
Thanks in advance! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Hey Tony, During some of our training in 2005 due to the threat of another 911, all law enforcement was issued radio active/dust face mask..These are the same mask that we use to recover fume-able narcotics "meth" from houses....they are top of the line..I have a spare, with a few extra filters I think...Let me know and I will locate it

Tony what you should do is invest in a good respirator. Dont use the ones that a lot of guys use like the dust mask ,you got to use the one that when you buy it you got to make sure it fits right, and you got to makes sure the cartridge that you get is the one that is for your purpose.

Hey All, thanks for the suggestions! I do appreciate it. I just don't want to get "pigeon lung" in a few years! Figure I better start protecting myself.
Hey Jerry, I'll take you up on your offer of that mask. Let me know what you want for it. I guess you'll be here for the World Cup on May 6th, right? If so, bring it along with you if you find it. Thanks!!!! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

3M makes a good respirator the kind I use when I apply varnish or oil based paints. ---------- Kelly
