hi have now decided to get a kit of birmingham roller or badges but i dont know what would be best and i was want to know what how many bird i would be able to fit in a shed about 6 feet high 4ft wide and 4 long and how average how long do them fly what the best trapping system for them

I would estimate about 30 kits birds or perhaps 6 breeding pairs could be housed in a loft that size.

The first year I had birds I bred from 4 pair in a kit box 4 x 4 x 4.

Nicky, you changed your first question about WOEs, and my answer looked silly out there.Had to delete, your costing me my hat! LOL

Good luck with finding some rollers, theres some guys on this forum from across the pond. Wayne and Steve are the first two that come to mind.

Welcome to a great site for all kinds of info about Birmingham Rollers.Go for the Rollers my freind.Reds,mealys,blacks,blue bars,checks,,colour ain't important,it's what they do in the air that counts.Try to pick your new birds from seeing them fly and perform.Join a Roller Club.You'll meet lots of new freinds and I'm sure get help setting up.Good Luck!

You could house a nice kit of 25 birds in there no problem. There is lots of flyers around the midlands area who would sure sort you out. If you need and breeders names in your area just email me on my profile. PS Spinner Jim Keeps badges if thats what you require.
