That is a blue bar cock baldy 2006. I will fly him another year and if the BOPs don't get him I may breed him. He smokes, but he has a better than thou attitude. He doesn't want to kit until he has done a couple of 50 footers on his own then he gets with program.

He may never reach the breeding loft if he continues with that habit.

I think my birds right now are too slow in the roll. Velocity, depth, frequency needs to improve(LOL). I only have the one hole showing bird and he has a ways to go. Much of my future success is depending on the 2007 birds because I sure do not have much of anything else.

Cook is the leader as far as I know.....his score was about 350 I think. Had large breaks of 10 or more birds 4 or 5 times. Jerry Holder I think was #2 with about 265 or so......Ol' Jerry is one of those old farts who tells you his birds are junk and then he kicks your ass. Tony had to fly in a wind storm....but I tell you his birds are quick in the roll and deep. Ol' Cecil Canary is new to rollers, but he is smart and got birds from Holder and Folstum(sp) and he did well. Had a falcon move through his kit. Had a dark check hen I would like to have. I honestly feel that Tony"s outcome would have been completely different.....that wind was just too much. I was impressed with those Rubys. They are a very calm bird in the hand and nearby you. They felt good in the hand; he allowed myself and Eldon handle a lot of his squeakers. The birds are balanced and compact.

Jim,

Well, Monty's legacy is still entack. I think I got a 197 or so, but is was just 6 birds carrying the whole kit. I will not get last in my area, but I will be along way off of first.

Nick,

I was showing off my birds to my youngest son (21). Wow I had one land on my hat twice. It was like I was on old friend coming just to see him. I held him with just one hand, putting out my finger only to have him move over and to it. Now thats what I call a tame bird!! The owner must have spend alot of time wich them to tame thim down that much.
