Just in case you guys wanted to see the Rocky Mountain fly reportfly report , these are the guys up in Idaho , Montana, and E Wash.
What a great experience in beautiful country , I enjoyed every minute with the guys up here and want to thank each and every one of them including the wives I saw good birds in nearly every kit, some kits would have done much better if it wasn't for outbirds, one being Beavers kit. Steve's kit waited until they were off the clock and then looked like a whole different kit and started hammering , Rick Schoening kit was a very very good kit of birds that have the potential to do much better work rate wise but were a tad strong , quality and depth was solid and the team worked as a good solid team of Birmingham Rollers should ,this team was easy and a real pleasure to score as there was very little if any birds holding back in most of the breaks , this is a team that can do very well in the W/C if they are hit on their potential thats for sure ! Scott Campbell Rick Shoening 1.6 1.5 5-7-5-10-8-8-15-5-5-6-5 285.6 Flew a tad strong, excellent qaulity and depth , Dennis Hayes 1.2 1.1 5-5-5-8-6-5-5-6-6-7-5 84.48 Kit was holding back Rich Hayes T.T. lofts 1.2 1.1 5-5-5-5-5-5-6-5 54.12 Nice ind. holding back as a team though Gary Barres 1.2 1.2 5-6-6-8-6-5 51.84 Birds holding back , easy to score John Farr 1.2 1.1 5-5-5-6-5 34.32 Late hatch young bird kit, going to be a nice kit. Jim Sargent 1.1 1.1 6-5-5-5-5 31.45 Active but not breaking together Rich Hayes T.T. lofts 1.1 1.1 5-5-5-5-5 30.25 Just wouldn't lift out of the yard Beaver Dayton 1.4 1.3 5-6-5 29.12 Good clean roll, out birds hurt Doc Reimann 1.3 1.0 5-5-5 19.5 Went high and out Brent Martindale 1.1 1.0 5 5.5 Had a 5hr fly prior week ,and it showed Steve Holton 1.2 1.1 5 5.5 Beaver Dayton 0 Out birds Dennis Hayes 0 Jim Sargent 0 Mike Danielson 0 Dirk Deboer D.Q Got warm, some very good ind. h

Hey Scott, It was nice meeting you and the Boise flyers. Thanks for giving me some tips on that new loft. Those squeaks we were planning to force feed were actually being raised by the pair I was given and were glad to get well fed the day after being put in the loft. Since hearing what you had to say about what is North of us, I want to take a weekend and get up there. Seeing trees and mountains would be a nice change from all this farmland. We're glad to hear you got back home safely. Sincerely, Janene and Larry Downing

Scott,
thanks for the great report. It seems Schoening's birds are as fast and as deep as he has been saying they are. Do you know if he had any Heine birds in the team and did he share any info on how they are doing?
thanks,
Ken

Scott, It was great to have you up here in the Big Sky country. Also good to get to sit around and chat with you. How did the pic of Gary's Highland Terriers turn out? Spud
