Hi all, Flew my first W/c fly. They flew the 20 min. I had two dark checks out most of the fly time. managed a score of 19.5 and a 1.0 Quality and 1.2 depth. So I can only improve next year. Had a good time. only we didn't get to vist much because they are trying to judge the whole state in one day!!I'll post more scores when I here. I was first to fly so I probably lead for 2 1/2 hrs till they got to the next loft!!!from left to right RD Bob Chamberlin,Ralf Cowgill, Dennis Cowgill Judge Carl Hardesty,Kim Tappenden, Doug Moore ---Photo Sharing and Video Hosti------<br />Tapp

Glad to hear ya got `em to fly Tapp ! ! ! They made the time and ya got a score on the board. Cant complain about that. If mine make the time and put a score up I`ll be happy too. Theres always next year to do better. You got the stock to work with this year. Oh, and tell the family I said hey... Maybe I`ll make it up there to see ya again this year.,,,,,,,,,,,,,Butch

Tapp,

Congrats on your first fly. Never get discouraged on your first fly...I think I got like 19pts on my first fly....just use it as motivation to do better....and trust me....one fly a year is not always a gauge of your birds.....these little guys can make you look great...or eat crow...LOL!!...I look at some of my scores...and I would be in the 200+ for a couple of flys and then the next fly get a 64 and you did nothing different...my point is...guage yourself and you birds over the long hall...not one or two flys...anyway...I am glad that you competed and I hope that you have many more to come.

Thanks Paul, I'm not one bit discouraged! I'm getting ready for the fall fly. It's not a one year wonder compition!! It's going to take some years to get a guality team together. I plan on competing till I can't crawl out to the lofts or look up!!! Tapp

Tapp,

The whole thing is that you competted. I found that since I competed I am getting phone calls and email from people who before may not have taken the time to give me the time of day. Even though my birds didn't do well I have been given some credence from some people who have never given me much credence before.

Weird ain't it?

Congratulations, Tapp!
