Here is a link to a press release. Anyway...here it is. I like the way they say the birds have a seizure and roll to the ground...anyway..My personal opinion...is that it is not just rollers that are getting hit....everybirds is getting hit....the Cooper's have been protected so long that there are two many of them...they are killing everything. They are supposed to have a huge area that is there territory and I have seen two or three withing 1/4 mile of each other sitting on fence posts. My Resident red tails have been going crazy fending off the cooper's from there nest near my house. I am glad the Red tails live by me...because they keep the cooper's away. I don't know...but it just seems that the fish and game needs to re-evaluate to coopers. Anyway...here is the article

Keep these guys in our prayers! Can't beieve this all these agents got to do is make up these bullshit stories and harass these guys. Wished somebody could film these BOPs ripping their beautiful song birds apart and go public with it and then come up with some statistics on the deminishing population of them! Guess that would be lied about too!

Endangered Species!! What a joke
Looks like undercover agents have been doing over time 14 months investigation.
What a waste of taxpayers money
There's people
robbing banks,
murders,
Rapes,
muggings, etc
The list goes on and on
For gawd sakes
My heart goes out to these guys
Remember innocent till proven guilty.
All have pleaded not guilty to charges in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles

Kenny , aint no lemonade here , the fact is they could care less about us and our birds or that the bulk of us are tax paying family men icluding police officers , military , doctors, lawyers , blue collor working men and woman ect ect.
And they know exactly what we are going through as they had plants in many clubs and these lists ,I know of one for sure here on this forum.

Maybe not, Scott. This may be the time to blow this thing out of the water and fight for our right to defend our livestock. When a predator comes on our property with the intention of destroying our livestock, we have certain rights. Judges, game wardens and local officials have been very considerate and understanding of flyers in this predicament in the past. I say we fight it. It's time to stand together and go toe to toe on this issue.

One legal way to fight it is that we all lockdown our birds the same time,November to March, Can you imagine we can starve them out,i myself feed them about 65 birds in those months alone,if nobady flys there are too many to compete for what ever they can get in winter,the only reason they OVER POPULATED is becouse we give them the food sorce for winter.
I have never locked down so i was part of the problem.
I promise now i will not feed the hawks this winter.

This day and age you will be giving up more then you think. See they have made mentioned how these little birds are having or suffering seizures. Now this is the fish and wildlife services. Which have over 100's of millions of dollars. Now just think if someone from HSUS {Humane Society United States}, PETA, Animals of equal rights, And all the other animal rights people jump on the band wagon. I can tell you first hand you will loose everything!!! Trust me we don't need all this extra press {BAD Press}. People talking about Seizures, rolldowns, culling is only going to get us more unwanting press. Now with thw Fish and Wildlife talking about it its looks grim......
The internet is a good tool for everyone as long as you use it in a manner that is in good taste. But for the opposite side of the coin it will bite ya in the butt if given the chance. Now you say fight it and maybe you win against the fish and wildlife. But what happens when they talk to the animal rights people about your birds and what is happening to them. You don't want those crazy people in your backyard at all or you dont want them to know where you live.
No law has been broken as of yet. So we arent at risk of loosing anything. They might even be found not guilty. And we have nothing to loose. But once you step on toes you will find someone with bigger feet that will step back. And the HSUS and others have big pockets and they don't sleep. So just think about what your saying here. Are you willing to put yourself and others at risk? When there isn't nothing to loose at the moment?
Just read some of the articles that is being written and see if they don't look bad for the roller guy....
Just my take been down that road and have lost a lot in the past few months over this same kind of thinking. To the point that what was given to me by my father and his father has came to a stop.
There will be a time and a place you can do this but not now while we have this black cloud over our heads.
