Tony,
A very well written letter!!..I think we have to start somewhere on this.The misconception out there about pigeon flying/sporting is widespread.Even people that have been around all types of animals are oblivious to pigeons being kept for sport or pleasure.It will be an uphill battle though.I find the state is pretty much the puppet of the Fed.s and they don't like to rock each others boat,especially with the concerns of pigeon fanciers.Other than the laws at all levels the awareness will not reach the vast majoritys that are needed to make these changes.One solution is to take the well made pigeon movies/documentarys,and make sure they are presented to the young to old.Also a documentary type movie that is sensitive to our cause of preserving the hobby and hit it hard from all media sources throughout the world.The gentle men that were BIASLY targeted,are there to teach fanciers , and to supress us as a scare tactic/opression.The pigeon REVOLUTION ,HAS BEEN WAGED.A list of authoritys needs to be compiled and every pigeon person needs to write letters and ALERT the media with picket signage to get this changed.Whats happening right now is typical federal burocrasy .Those gentleman are no more guilty than a chicken farmer shooting a gluttinous fox.This is federal oppression!!!!...Aloha,Todd

For the falconers clicking on over: Let me be clear, I DO NOT condone and never have the trapping or destruction of any protected species. This site and myself do not encourage it at all.
For those that are accused of breaking the law and are convicted, justice has been done.
Any remedies should be legal and within the system and involve the appropriate regulating body.

Great article Tony! It's the love of the roll and these magnificent birds that keep's us all ecstatically enraptured.
