when cn the young birds fly higher? mine are 4-5 month old.

At that age they are should be at a good height. A bit more feed usually will get them up higher and longer, but the bigger worry is usually that they get too high and don't make it back home. If you have older birds you may try flying them together once or twice, this usually get the youngsters up where you want them without risk. Good luck Spud

Mine are flying just fine now at the same age. Top out around three- four hundred feet. ---------- V99 Flippin`The Bird!

Mine usally go thru that stage. I find cutting back on the feed a LITTLE gets them up.I have a tendency to overfeed young birds and they get lazy. ---------- Ron
