I went up to Decatur to watch the WC. First it was off to Boody to watch Ted Peoples fly. Just remember I am very bad with names. I just don't remember the judges name right now.....
This is Ted & the WC Judge (really a nice guy!!)
This is Jim Wilson, Ted Peoples, WC Judge and Bob Hord
Bob who was next to fly his birds for the WC. Both kits did Ok, everyone else in the area dropped out. I hope that next year I will be flying in the WC too.

Bob Hord was and is my mentor. He looks pretty damn good for 76 years old don't he? I am 64 and when I was 8 years old he was a rough and tuff 20 year old that I quickly looked up to. I later found out in my maturity he has a heart bigger than all out doors.
A quick story about his heart. When I was about 9 or 10 I had no money and needed feed. He gave me money to buy the feed. Do you know of any 21 or 22 year olds that would give a kid money to buy feed that he was not even related to?
I grew up in poverty and he did as well. I really like this man.

The judge is Dick Kollmann. My appology if I spelled his name wrong. But you`re right about him being a really great guy and I believe a very fair judge. He was here and judged my birds a few days after he was in your area. Actually I have also met Ted and Bob a couple times. These are all good guys. Those Illinois flyers are a good bunch of roller guys.
