For the past few days, I have been watching my birds thru binoculars and have noticed for the most part that they fly with their mouths open. Not sure if it is a heat thing, or for better air into the lungs, but found it interesting.
P.S...If you have never watched your birds up close with binocs, you should.... kinda cool to see them roll when you can see the pupil of their eyes.

I've noticed my mouth is wide open when I'm jogging lately! LOL I've noticed my birds doing the same thing. Guessing with all the humidity lately the air is just thicker!
I think my problem is my "tool shed" has gotten bigger! LOL

maybe their tool shed is too big also.. Feeding too much. they are panting due to the heat. If you observe them enough, when they really get tired they will let their legs hang down richard
