Hey guys,

I just put Brian McKenzie on a plane to Jim Spring's house. My kit didn't do much this morning. It was 72 degrees and extremely humid this morning when I flew at 6:30 AM with a warm 8 to 10 mph wind. Crappy weather for flying rollers, and this weather just showed up yesterday, after we have had weeks of cool, dry, calm weather. The birds did not want to lift or work, and the bigger cock birds just turned out of most of the breaks and took the kit away in a S-turn mode. They did OK for the conditions, had 4 double digit breaks, but no where near what they have been doing for the last 2 weeks, oh well better luck next time. Brian is one hell of a nice guy and I really enjoyed my time with him. Below is my score and a picture from the fly.

5-12-8-10-8-8-7-7-11-12-5 = 138 raw x 1.3 Q x 1.3 D = 233.22 total

thanks for sharing Dave,
Looks like ya had a decent day considering the weather. We have had some really nasty, humid air here for a few weeks now, and my birds show it..They seem to do better in the early AM fly versus the evening fly.

Congratulations on flying in the WC. I hope to be able to fly in it next year. I'm working on my birds now slowly getting ready for it.

Dave,

you need to get some sun. Those legs are blinding me!

Hey Ken,

You've got that right! LOL. My arms and face are tanned nice, which usually I get from riding my mower for 2 hours cutting the grass. The problem is that I wear long pants when I'm cutting the grass, so my legs don't get as much sun. I guess I'll have to wear my shorts on the mower so that I don't blind you guys anymore. LOL.
