Hi gys.
Im Edo from Sweden and i and my father keep rollers here in sweden. We have had birds for over 4 years now and i have been reading on this site the hole time but never postet anything.
We have also a Birmingham Roller perfomance club countig about 10 mebmers. We had some competitions here but nobody did take it that seriously but we are working our way up to that. Almost a shame considering that we have some good stock. We have been over in Denmark and bought pigeons from Ferid Catak ( last years world cup winner) and Erik Laidler (several top ten placings in the world cup). These gys are great and rely generous when it comes to pigeons. Everytime we go over there they just let us pick pigeons from the air or if we tell them that we want some proven breeders then they go in their breedin loft and pick out some pairs. They either give them to us or sel them for 100 swedish kronor, thats about 15 U.S. dollars. Not much to pay for pigeons of which some of them where in they repective world cup kits. If i look at their pedigrees i recognize some names as George Mason, Kitson. Paul Lee and Harris. But i know that pedigrees dont mean nothing if you dont know how to work your birds but its good to know where the birds come from.
Just wanted to introduce myself and our club here in Sweden and i wish everyone a good season.
English is not my first languge but i did my best.

Welcome Edo, Sounds like those gentlemen have treated you and your father well with the birds. As a past reader, you know this is the place to come for information, laughs, and now and again, arguing..LOL
Again, welcome

Welcome Edo I have met Erik Laidler he is a fellow English man and he sure is a very nice guy. He moved to Denmark many years ago i think he is from the North East Middlesbrough District originally. I have no doubt that he will sure sort you out with some excellent birds. ---------- Regards W@yne UK
