Tony To give you an idea as how bad it is here,Monday i flew my goung kit.within a few minutes a coopers hawk showed up and gave chace a a bird.the roller tryed to outfly the hawk but at one point turned and was diveing to the loft at a good hight, unfortunatly it crashed through a telephone whire in my back yard, the bid fell to the ground already dead from the impact,as i picked it up the cooper took a few dives. that was not the ODD thing whithin a few seconds of me holding the dead bird i see a dot comeing at me and getting bigger, withing seconds a RED TAIL opened his wings and at that point he was about 5 feet from me,i threw the bird on the ground in panic and fear and the Red tail landed on the bird. I sort of pushed him off (not kicked him) and he flew away. Tony this is the stuff people here in So,Cal put up with. You cant do much about studing the BOP habits on when they eat, there is at least 5 coopers and 4 redtails everyday here, and a falcon at least once a week. All that and im still flyong club flys and F/F and everyother fly . We just have to deal with it and breed more.Hector C

Hey Hector, sounds like a real feeding frenzy where you are at. Sorry it is so bad for you and some others.
There are the only 3 choices for the person suffering under the bop gauntlet:
1 Allow the slaughter to continue 2 Find legal remedies to minimize bop losses 3 Get out of performing rollers
You are choosing option #1. Good luck. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

That is because there is to many BOP in your area, they are hungry and when something is hungry they will do any thing to eat. What will happen is they will hunt everything out and starve to death and then rabbits and squirrels will be over protected and then they will be to many of them one day. ---------- Justin

I hate to say it but the only way anything will be done is if someone important has their kid attacked by a BOP. Its kinda like thinking someone is going to hurt you and calling 911. there is nothing they will do about it untill something real actually happens.

Small dogs and cats will surely hit the menu! Some rich ole bitty gets her poodle snatched out of her arms, and shit will go public, pigeons never will!
