I have sent messages to several people that I feel would make good officers asking if they would accept a nomination. I also asked them to give me positions they would be willing to accept a nomination for. Some have responded.
Some of those that I think would do a pretty good job at governing the NBRC I personally don't share a kindness for. But, that should not interfere with recognizing they would be good for us and the NBRC. Don't choose your friends for this job; choose whoever you feel best fills the needs for the organization. It may have nothing to do with friendships.
