I want to thank everyone that has been suggesting that I would make a good nominee for the NBRC Presidency in the upcoming election. I appreciate the good words and your support. I want to let you all know that I have decided not to run for the Presidency at this time. This is an important and critical time for the NBRC that will require committed officers who have the time, energy, and drive to take on the difficult tasks that lay ahead. I do not have the time in my personal life, to take on these responsibilities at this time. I only commit myself to elected positions if I believe that I can give it my all. I'm only 48 and I will be around when the VP job comes back East in 4 years, or the Presidency in 6 years, so you haven't seen the last of me yet.

Hope you can get more time to help the NBRC in the future.. I see where most of the guys know someone and want to vote him in. Please look at their track record of getting things done ON TIME, not waiting till the last minute. This has been done on several occasions in the past, by those that members want to see in office.
Dave we will look forward to the time when you can.

Dave, I was one of the first to voice my choice as you for President. In this time of turmoil we need leadership that will not bend, break or fold from our intended goals. Helps that you are law abiding too! You have been known to fit that bill. Please leave open that possibility when the next Eastern term comes around! Regards, Otis

Thanks for your support. Yeah, I can be pretty stubborn when I know that I am heading down the right path, just ask my wife! LOL. I'll be around Otis, when I am able to, I will step up again.
