One of my Personal goals has been to one day only have birds bred and banded by me in my stock loft, I am getting real close to that goal.
Do you guys have any personal goals in this Hobby ?

George,
I gotta a bunch of them. One goal is to develope enough quality birds and enough quality kits to place in the top ten in both the WC and the NBRC FF twice. That is one........LOL ---------- Nick

I posted on a different thread last night that I had the same goal as you George! It will take a long time for me to reach it. I'm shooting for 5 years, but I won't be suprised if it takes longer!
Another goal would be to make as many friends in the hobby as I can! I plan on traveling and meeting flyers all over the country some day! Shake their hands, look them in the eyes and put some of these names to faces!
Contribute to the hobby! ---------- Val

My goal is to win every competition I enter, with the exception of the FF and WC. My goals each time for the FF and WC are simply to qualify. Qualifying in this region is the toughest thing to do. Everything else is just gravy.

Hummmm I have no personal goal but to have my rollers spin and please me, not anyone else, just me. Cause I know if they please me, they will please everyone.
It's also a joy watching some for the first time watching my rollers that had never seen a bird roll backwards in there life. That is fun for me and double fun for the person next to me watching for the first time.

My goal is to compete! So I have started visiting the "best" roller men in my area.OH BOY do I have a ways to go.LOL But the best advice I have received is to work on the stock loft FIRST! ---------- Ron Borderline lofts

I'm like you, Jim. My personal goal is to stay in the hunt and keep Jay, Clay, Joe Bob, and Charlie on their toes....keeping the bar raised, so to speak. If I can lick 'em every now and then, so much the better! In my breeding loft, my goal is higher percentages of quality birds raised each year. Cliff

Nick, For a guy that has never been in the WC I have to start somewhere. Besides it would be fun kidding you all year & next about the WC. My real goal in just to fly in it, one time. If I beat anyone it would be an accident. My eyes may say they are all champs but my lips would never utter it. Not bad for o7 birds, "they have potential if they live long enough."
